forever grateful to those bloggers who shared Their income reports and inspired me to start my
blog about three years ago now i know people get Easily offended these days and i've seen extensive
debates in the facebook groups around this topic Of stay-at-home months and i've seen comments
from men who didn't like the fact that they were Not explicitly included in the conversations
about mommy blogs so just as a side note i Have nothing against full-time working moms and
corporate jobs i also have nothing against dads And some of them run great parenting websites okay
don't get any of this personal the purpose of this Video is to review how pinterest helps websites in
the parenting niche and the rest is your personal Choice and i'm not here to advise or just of
any of these matters i want this video to be an Inspiration for you but not only that i will
show you exactly how these successful mummy Bloggers get free traffic from pinterest and how

description below this video so i will start with This blog called the realistic mama and her income
report for october 2019 says that she made 24 000 And actually a little bit more if we look at
her income streams she made about a thousand Dollars with advertising and then affiliate
income made about eighteen thousand dollars Which is the biggest chunk of her income for that
month she also sold a little bit uh of her ebook And then she sold her organizer and also she sold
about almost five thousand dollars in her courses It's also interesting to have
a look in chronological order In at her income reports for different years
so when she started in 2014 she made about 10 000 15 she made 79 so it's a pretty big jump
from ten thousand to seventy nine thousand dollars And then she's uh in 2016 she made 84 and from
there her income grew really quickly and in 2018 She made in total over 367 000 i noticed that in
many of her income reports she emphasizes that she Only works on her blog part-time about 20 hours
a week so like i said a lot of moms would dream To have this kind of lifestyle and this kind of
income while working from home and spending time With their kids if we look at the top menu of
her blog we'll see that the main categories here
Are motherhood which includes marriage kids family
and also easy recipes and healthier lifestyle as a Category and also other categories on her blog are
how to start a blog and income reports and then She also has a store where she obviously sells her
own products and mainly these are some printables Like organizers uh family organizer live planner
and also 175 best date ideas now if we switch to Herp interest account we'll see that it's a pretty
strong account with almost 5 million monthly Viewers and these are the posts that she's been
saving from her site lately you will see that most Of them are actually in the parenting and mommy
blog niche but there is one thing that i noticed And which is not really good if you're trying
to look at her account as a good example Uh there is a big mistake here it's a repetitive
pinning because if you scroll down the feed you Will see that it's all the time the same five or
four or five posts and um they are repeated very Close to each other these pins so it makes her
feed look pretty repetitive but she definitely Heavily relies on pinterest for traffic because
you can see here that she starts every blog post With a pinterest optimized image it's a vertical
image with a text overlay and then if you scroll Down to the to the blog post and she has several
uh pins inside the post as well and you can see That at the end of the post she is also inviting
users to follow her on pinterest using this Quite big widget so basically you can just google
pinterest widget builder and here you will click On profile and then if you insert here your
pinterest user url and you select the type of of The widget that you want to add to your site here
you can then grab copy paste the code from here And insert it in the place where you want to
have it on your site and now we're looking At the income report by the blogger called
casey croggings and that's actually the domain Of her blog it's an income report for for august
2020 so it's pretty recent and if we scroll down A little bit we can see exactly what are the
income streams i just zoomed in so you can see That her affiliate income was 1200 dollars from
us she made with ad thrive two thousand dollars And youtube ads which i assume is because she
has also a youtube channel she she made of 258 So the total income from ads on her blog was 2 452
and then she also has some products of her own and She sells through etsy and made 200 there and also
using her blog shop and tripwires she made 350 So the total as i said was 4 and 200 and now
we can have a look at her pinterest profile And you will notice something interesting
that for 11 000 followers that she has Her profile is a very strong uh monthly viewership
it's almost 10 million 9.3 million monthly viewers And if you scroll down you'll see that she's
saving lots of pins not only from her own site But actually i opened the board that's
called bestofcasescroggings.com.com so These are the pins that she saved from her site
so we can have a look at the style and also at The categories and you will see here that she's
using a lot of her original photos if you look At this board you will see what are approximately
the colors and what is the style of her pins she
Is using this light and bright colors and if i
look here at the description of the board though I would say that it's a little bit risky to
use this strategy and add so many keywords In one board description that's because pinterest
doesn't encourage at all keyword stuffing if you Go to pinterest's content tips on this page they
specifically talk about keyword stuffing they say As you write use complete sentences and make sure
to include a call to action work relevant keywords Into your descriptions but stay away from keyword
staffing and now i'd like to show you another Income report from a mommy blogger she actually
is talking about her blogging stuff on a separate Blog that it's called the basics of blogging.com
and here she's publishing her income reports but They are the income reports for her parenting and
her mommy blog pregnancy actually pregnancy blog So the pregnancy blog she has it's called
swaddles and bottles and here is how it looks And the income report we'll be looking at is
for december 2017 she made 11 000 in that month And at that time she says that she has about
2.6 million monthly viewers on pinterest and That's when she made 11 000 and it's interesting
that in her income report she also goes over her Traffic sources and if we scroll down a little bit
we'll see here that pinterest is her number one Source of traffic she actually explains why she's
been so successful with pinterest she says that Because she understands pinterest algorithm this
algorithm takes many things into account your Profile your activity your popularity on pinterest
your website and most importantly those keywords That's actually what i'm always talking about
it's about pinterest seo i have a course called Pinterest seo traffic secrets but i also have a

link to that video in the top right corner and Also in the description below this video i find
this income report very interesting because she Shows exactly how she made this money and with
which affiliate programs and just with amazon Links in her blog post she made almost thousand
five thousand eight hundred and ninety five Dollars she made just with affiliate links uh to
amazon products in one month of december 2017. Now december is usually the month when people
buy a lot of presents and that's normal to get A lot more inc affiliate income in that month
but actually it's impressive how much money you Can make with simple links to amazon products that
people buy for their everyday needs and you don't Have to always link to some expensive courses to
make decent amount of money with affiliate links She also compares her income from january 2017
and december 2017 with ads on her site she had a Pretty big significant growth of traffic to her
side in that month in december and so she made Four thousand dollars just with ads on the blog
if we look at her pinterest profile we'll see 8.4 Million monthly viewers if you have a quick look
at her profile you will notice that it's pretty Focused on pregnancy topic and parenting and when
i close up the pins i will see that all of them Are linked to her side and i
wanted to show you this profile
Specifically for this reason because there is
a very common misconception about pinterest Maybe you've read it somewhere in outdated advice
on pinterest marketing that you have to save about 80 percent of your pins from other sites but
this is not true pinterest values us as content Creators so i actually recommend everywhere in my
videos and also in my course that you should save About 80 from your own site and only about 20
should be dedicated to content curation you as A website owner are valued on this platform as a
content creator and you know in general it's okay To start exploring the topic and learning about
pinterest from whatever information is available On different blogs but eventually no
one can guarantee that you will find An up-to-date advice and that it won't cost you
your account because some outdated advice about Pinterest would suggest you for example that you
should save a pin linked to the same page about 10 Times a day and that will boost your traffic to
that post that's completely wrong it's not only Not going to help you boost traffic it can even
get your account suspended pretty quickly that's Why i think it might be worth joining a paid

sharing a lot of in income streams that she has on On the blog and in the last incoming board that
she published for april 2016 she made four hundred And sixty four dollars of which uh 840 were made
with her ebook and then she made one thousand and One hundred dollars with sponsored posts and also
she has about 2800 as advertising in her income On her blog plus affiliate sales 2688 and now i'll
show you really quickly her pinterest profile she Has 2.7 million monthly viewers which is slightly
lower than i've seen on other previous accounts But i think that although lena relies on pinterest
seo which is great and it helps her account stay Relatively strong on on the platform i can
tell that she's been using very busy pin design
For example if we look at this pin you will see
that the background is pretty busy and so this Text overlay doesn't pop up so strong and the same
problem happens with many of her pins actually Which i think that on pinterest it can hurt your
um reach and you and the number of saves and People simply cannot catch so quickly what your
pin is about if we compare her other pins that We've seen previously with this one that has clean
and minimalistic design i think Lena probably Would get much better results if most of her pins
