Do want to focus on making money Blogging because I haven't really talked About how I've made money blogging my Only course is creating an e-book I have A membership site as well and all the Options that are available to you I feel Like when I got started making money Blogging I didn't really understand how Hard it was going to be so I just want To break it down today talk about why You need income streams and if you're a Beginner blogger how you can create some New income stream so let's go ahead and Get to the video when I first got Started blogging I knew that I wanted to Have ads on my website so as soon as I Created my website I applied to Google Adsense and I got started and I put ads On my website it was like quick quick Done and put ads on my website and Before I had done some research on some Income reports about how bloggers were Making money and some of them said that They were making a couple hundred Dollars a month from ads and I was like Oh Is gonna be so great but the reality is It took me a year to receive my first Paycheck from ads from Google Adsense Because they don't pay you out until you Reach the hundred dollar minimum so you Have to make $100 with your ads before You receive your first paycheck or Before you receive any payout from
Google Adsense honestly so it took me Over a year to make money with my ad so After I knew that that wasn't working For a while I decided to get started With affiliate marketing if you haven't Heard of affiliate marketing before it's Basically where you work with another Company you helps promote their product So they will give you a custom link that You include on your website your social Media people click that link it sign up For either a free trial or they actually Buy a paid product then you receive a Small Commission for the money that they Spent so you receive part of the sale Basically so I got started with Affiliate marketing I joined Shara CEO And that's where I found a few companies That I wanted to work with and that's Honestly where I got started with an Affiliate marketing was through that Affiliate marketing Network I found some Programs on there apply to that got Accepted and not started I also done it Which some companies I applied to them Directly but affiliate marketing I have Made significantly more money than as Their affiliate marketing I've made a Couple thousand dollars where through Ads have only made a couple hundred Dollars so there's a big difference There and then over time I ended up Developing my paid product so I created An online course I created an e-book
Then I created a physical book which is Actually a Productivity planner and then I created my membership site and then Behind the scenes I would say it's in Relation to my blog of course but a Little bit behind the scenes I also Started freelancing so I first over to The freelancing world I was a content Creator so it's helping other people Write blogs and create freebies and Downloads and I was creating guides and Checklists and things like that and then I ended up moving into more consulting Pinterest management side of printing And the services that I offer so why do You really want a lot of income streams When it comes to your blog well your Blog's money is always going to be Inconsistent the money you make with Your blog it's not like you're receiving A paycheck every other week it's not Like a part-time job or a full-time job Your money is going to be inconsistent Some months I make really good money With my courses other months I don't Make as great of money with my courses Some months I make $200 my affiliate Marketing from just one Other runs I could only make $50 and Then when it comes to my ads or other Affiliate marketing places that have a Certain payout that I have to reach I May not get paid maybe once maybe twice A year so even come for me is so
Inconsistent but having a variety of Income sources allows me to make more Money with my blog if you weren't Throwing all of your eggs in one basket And you're saying okay I'm gonna make Money with ads and that's it you're not Going to make that much money and it's Gonna be very hard for you to scale that Income it's important to build out your Income streams as much as you can Possible and if you are beginner vulgar I highly recommend that you get started With ads you get started with affiliate Marketing over time maybe you'll get Sponsored posts and you'll be able to Work with brands and have those Collaborations which will be awesome Once you build up your audience enough You may be able to bail out those paid Products if you're a youtuber you can Create merch if you've got the money to Do that or you could create a book like I did there are a lot of options that Are available to you and one of the Easiest ways I'm going to be honest one Of the easiest most profitable ways to Make money when you are just getting Started Is to create services and sell your Services I'm sure that you have a Certain skill set especially if you are A blogger then you're probably really Good at writing blog posts and if you Enjoy it you can sell those services to
Other people because people are looking For bloggers they're looking for content Creators so you can join up work like I Did and become a content creator on There I did that for a while and then I Moved into the Pinterest world and Moreso SEO world consulting world and Honestly just the walking world in General but I stopped writing content For other people but I'm sure that you Have a certain service that you can sell And you can do it by going through a Freelancing networks such as of work or You can create a work with me page on Your blog as long as it's relevant to Your blog it's a good place to get Started so if you're a blogger trying to Make money one of the best pieces of Advice that I can give you is to create Multiple income streams keep your Options open and always look for new Opportunities to make more money because There's no point focusing only one Income stream that's not going to Provide you that Money for me I've been trying to build Up my passive income stream so that Would be my affiliate marketing my ads My courses that's why I've been Developing my courses my ebook my Membership site the TCD vault I've been Trying to develop those because I want To create more of a passive income so I'm not spending as much time working on
Clients and I can spend more time Creating content and doing things for You guys and all of those paths of the Income sources take a while to build up They really do like I said I didn't get My first paycheck from my ads until a Year after I started implementing them On my website with my affiliate Marketing I didn't start making money I Would say about three months maybe four Or five months after I started Implementing those links on my website Because you have to build those Resources and don't have that trust with Your audience for them to be willing to Buy something that you are recommending To them so if you really want to make Money blogging you really need to focus On the long term strategy Build up your income streams and really Focus on building your audience the Higher quality audience you have the More that they trust you and you work on Building that relationship with them the More money you're going to end up making In the long run so I hope this video was Helpful if it was please give it a Thumbs up and subscribe to my channel if You have some income streams already Generated for your blog that let you Know in the comments section down below Maybe you can help someone else out now See you guys back here in another video Very soon bye guys
